Absolut Vodka is a classic tasting vodka distilled from winter wheat. It was first introduced to the United States in 1979, 100 years after it was first produced in Sweden.
Nose: almost neutral nose with slightly doughy bread, Ryvita crispbread and black pepper.
Palate: clean, black peppery spice and faint brown bread with even fainter cream of soda vanilla liquorice,
Finish: muscular peppery spice with faint cream of soda and liquorice finish.
Fun Fact: The Absolut Vodka distillery in Åhus, Sweden makes 500,000 bottles of vodka a day.
